As most of us know, parenting young children can get tough sometimes, especially when you are a single parent faced with limited financial resources and are new to Calgary and have not had a chance to develop a support network. The Children’s Cottage crises nursery provides a temporary home for children who need a safe place to be while their parents get a much-needed break. Her company supports the cottage by providing volunteer hours to help care for the children.
